Moxa Technologies, a leading industrial device networking solution provider, has introduced its new Moxa smart multiport serial boards CP-118U, supporting 8 RS-232/422/485 serial ports.
With 128-byte FIFO buffer and Burst Data Mode within Moxa Turbo Serial Engine H. This feature greatly decreases the CPU loading, and allows CP-118U to communicate at a bi-directional speed up to 921.6 Kbps per port, offering the throughput of over 700 Kbps for 8 port RS-232 application, the top performance so far.
In addition, the CP-118U accepts 3.3/5 V Universal PCI and single 5 VDC power input.
It can fit into almost all kinds of standard and compact sized host computers in POS, retail, hospitality and other industrial automation applications.
To meet the requirement of industrial automation, CP-118U meets the high standard 15KV ESD surge protection.
The wide variety of connector options (DB9, DB25, RJ45 cables and external wiring boxes) meets almost all kinds of wiring environments.
Besides CP-118U, MOXA also provide 2/4/8 RS-232/422/485 Multiport Serial Board solution (UPCI V2).
All of them have the same features as CP-118U.
