What makes MOXA Universal PCI V2 the fastest multiport serial board is MOXA UART (MU860), a new IC developed solely by Moxa. MU860 not only allows Moxa Universal PCI V2 to have 128-byte FIFO, but also equips it with Burst Data mode.

Burst Data mode is the special feature that MU860 offers its users.

With MU860, it only takes half of the time needed in the past to access the same amount of data via I/Os.

This feature greatly decreases the CPU loading, and allows Moxa Universal PCI V2 to communicate at a bi-directional speed up to 921.6 Kbps per port, offering the throughput of over 700kB/s, the highest performance so far, for RS-232 serial communication.

MU860 also has built-in hardware and software flow control circuit, preventing data loss in any kind of serial communication.

In addition, Moxa Universal PCI V2 meets the high standard of 15KV ESD surge protection, and provides 2KV Isolation Protection (CP-134U-I V2 and CP-132UL-I V2), ensuring the reliability and security of your data.

The wide variety of connector options (DB9, DB25, RJ45 cables and boxes) provides wide application flexibility.
