CentrePath Customer Honored with Prestigious Best Practices in Storage Award; Community Health Network Recognized by Storage Networking World, IDG's C

WALTHAM, Mass. -- CentrePath, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent management solutions for optical and storage networks, today announced that one of its customers, Community Health Network, has been honored as the winner of the Storage Networking World (SNW) Best Practices In Storage award for the System Implementation category. Community Health is specifically recognized for the successful design, implementation and management of an optical and storage network to support the delivery of state-of-the-art patient care. Community Health uses CentrePath's Magellan technology to manage its private optical and storage network to high levels of availability on an ongoing basis.

Community Health leverages its optical and storage network for the transport of digitized medical images (e.g. PACS), electronic medical records, voice and video traffic, as well as for synchronous data replication for business continuity and disaster recovery. CentrePath's Magellan technology enables the IT team at Community Health to pinpoint the root cause of network events in real-time and identify the impact these events have on applications running over the network.
